Childhood?
So many people say college was the best time of their lives, causing children to grow up faster than they should so that they can have the times of their lives. What about childhood? We never had to worry about having enough money for rent, groceries, beer, or had to get ourselves out of bed for our class that starts at 1pm. We fed the dog, made our bed, did small chores around the house. We had no worries. Couldn't our childhoods be considered the best times of our lives? Running through sprinklers barefoot, going to summer camp, spending our days swimming in our aunt's pool instead of working. Having money is great, but being able to play all day instead would be better. Catching lightning bugs with my cousins, fishing with my grandfather, sneaking ice cream before dinner, these are all the things we are missing from our college lives. Although maybe we've outgrown them, they'll never outgrow us. We all secretly wish we could go back to slip-and-slides and sprinklers. Why not go outside and play on your days off, instead of sitting on the couch.
